Wereldwijd gebruiken landbouwers steeds vaker plastic folies om de bodem af te dekken. Een praktijk met heel wat voordelen, maar ook een die plastic deeltjes in de bodem brengt. Biologisch afbreekbare landbouwplastics lijken een oplossing, al hebben ze een grotere impact op het bodemleven dan gangbare plastic folies.
