Ce plan d’action s’inscrit dans la continuité des colloques au Sénat le 5 février et au Parlement Européen à Bruxelles le 11 avril dernier. Aussi, nous avons aussi organisé des tables rondes le 5 juin avec des candidats aux élections européennes et un cycle d’ateliers les 19 mars, 18 juin, du 21 juin et du 9 octobre pour construire de manière collégiale ce plan d’action.

The Global Justice Project is a collective research initiative developed by the World Inequality Lab. Combining comparative historical data series from the World Inequality Database with global input-output tables, environmental accounts, labour force surveys and other sources, the project explores what a just distribution of socio-economic and environmental resources could look like at the global level from 2025 to 2100 – both between and within countries – in a way that is compatible with planetary boundaries. The project partly builds on the analysis and proposals set out in Thomas Piketty’s Brief History of Equality, extending them into a broader and more comprehensive global framework. The Global Justice Project is now available to explore on a dedicated website, that includes an interactive tool to explore the distributional pathways and climate scenarios behind the report.

Alors que la crise climatique frappe la Grande-Bretagne, nous devons renforcer la résilience au niveau local en réensauvageant, en économisant l'eau et en luttant contre les inondations.

Stand Up for Science The Foundation Stand Up For Science organised the March For Science Netherlands on April 22 2017, at Museumplein Amsterdam. Together with hundreds of other cities worldwide, we wanted to raise awareness that science is not just an opinion, but that it is crucial to societal development and democratic process. The March For Science was received with great enthusiasm by scientists, students, concerned citizens, boards of universities, and supporting institutions, and became a great success on April 22, hosting over 3000 participants at the Museumplein in Amsterdam. We created awareness amongst individuals and institutes that the time is now to stand up for science. However, even though our message was met with great enthusiasm, a one day march is not enough to fix the information chaos and distrust in science. Therefore we continue our movement, and will set the following goals for the near future:
