Immers, door de Noordzeenatuur te beschermen worden ook de effecten van de klimaatverandering verzacht. Op zee kan de gouden tandem van robuuste natuur én technologie ons verzekeren van hernieuwbare energie, kustbescherming en rijke biodiversiteit. We weten hoe en veel sectoren zijn voor. Waarom het dan niet gewoon doen? Het is tijd voor 5 minuten politiek leiderschap in plaats van verkiezingskoorts. 4Sea roept de Belgische beleidsmakers op om een ambitieuze Europese natuurherstelwet te steunen.

In het klimaatdebat worden jongeren nog te vaak niet serieus genomen. En dat is zonde, want jongeren kunnen constructief tegen klimaatschenen stampen, schrijft VN-jongerenvertegenwoordiger bij de Vlaamse Jeugdraad Simon Sterck.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres called for strengthened international solidarity to address pressing global issues. "My objective is to make it clear that …we need cooperation, we need dialogue, and the present terrible geopolitical divides are not allowing it to happen.
