Our Mission is to bring complex scientific consensus reports on health and the environment to the reach of non-specialists. GreenFacts publishes clear, faithful, and verified summaries of existing scientific reports on health, the environment and sustainable development.

The main report provides an integrated narrative, examining the central and vital role that the climate and natural environment play in ensuring health, resilience and prosperity for people, anchored in the EU’s vision for a sustainable Europe by 2050.

Le « SAF » ou Sustainable Aviation Fuel, est depuis longtemps érigé en mesure phare de la décarbonation du transport aérien, qui communique très largement sur le sujet. IATA annonce même sans sourciller que les SAF couvriront 65% des besoins de l’industrie à l’horizon 2050, contre… 0.3% en 2024. Qu’en est-il vraiment, et faut-il développer les SAF un peu, beaucoup… ou pas du tout ?

The climate crisis has begun to disrupt human societies by severely affecting the very foundations of human livelihood and social organisation. Climate impacts are not equally distributed across the world: on average, low- and middle-income countries suffer greater impacts than their richer counterparts. At the same time, the climate crisis is also marked by significant inequalities within countries. Recent research reveals a high concentration of global greenhouse gas emissions among a relatively small fraction of the population, living in emerging and rich countries. In addition, vulnerability to numerous climate impacts is strongly linked to income and wealth, not just between countries but also within them.
